As I was wondering about the sanity of our culture, because of the constant headlines in the press stating that our democracy was in jeopardy with the arrival of fierce resistance against our western lifestyle from radical thinkers, I actually asked myself: “Is it bad, to threaten democracy?”
By the way, one has the same sentiments as one watches a Antisocial Hooligan Horde trashing a middle sized town because their club lost the game. Or won the game, for that matter.
Well, any one would think “Yes!” but why? What are actually the options here? So I decided to dig back into the theory and have myself retaught some philosophy of government. It’s hard, it’s dry and it’s in fact very boring. But it is also very interesting and it rekindles ones love for the power of the people.
