Wag The Pope

Preliminary statement: I have no qualms to insult any church. I will try to avoid insulting anyone’s higher being, though. The pope, leader of the Catholic Christian Church or C.C.C. – not to be confused with my old friends the “Cellule Combattant Communiste” – is NOT a deity and he is certainly not infallible.

Pope Benedictus XVI, the leader of the most party-loving contingent of Christians this faith is able to muster, and our Dictator of the day, is holding on to the hard line of his eluded and misguided predecessors. Birth control in any guise is prohibited. Not by any law, but by His Holiness Himself, H.H.H. – not to be confused with my favourite adolescence past-time, the Hardcore Hurricane Hand-job.

So why is it still so important, what this old fart in Rome has to say about sexuality? How come he is in any way a specialist? I read in the newspapers, that he is apologising for the sexual misconduct of his priests. Did they show him the ropes?

In times long ago, the worldly powers had to be endorsed by the Spiritual Apex, SA – not to be confused with our ancient enemy, the Sturm Abteilung, to grant them their legitimacy in their often callous rule over the people, whom they pressed out like ripe fruit. Kings and Emperors needed to be crowned by a pope, so that the gullible masses could think that their sovereign was somehow god sent, and therefore entitled to govern them as if they were his private property. In this process, Karl Marx’ “Verelendung avant la lettre”, a vast stream of wealth flowed to a class of nobles who – in many cases – are still holding on to this loot today.

So through history, the simple man was conned out of his Kapital and also out of his right to self-determination. The first item has clearly been a topic of vivid debate for a long time, and most people will understand that squeezing gain out of other peoples labour in the way it was done long ago, is unwanted.

But the issue on self determination seems to remain undecided.

Across the world, many people still see the pope’s statements as something they should heed, even when it comes to their daily lives. Why? If so many people keep dying of sexually transmitted diseases because the use of condoms is forbidden by the church, how can anyone maintain that this church has any respect for human life? There is plenty of opposition from very intelligent people, but the grip this C.C.C. perpetually holds on millions of people, seems to be unaltered and certainly not weakened.

I see no other choice than to abolish this Cathilic Church and to destroy all its contributions to contemporary policies. And while we are at it, maybe we can redistribute its wealth over the people who really need it. In the mean time, all those clerics can do something useful; like distributing condoms in a HIV-ridden Africa.
